Quarantine Notes for Overseas Entry
1. Documents required for entry from a designated country or region below:

Ireland, Macedonia, Portugal, Cyprus, Liechtenstein, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Iceland, Albania, French Polynesia

- The official Quarantine Certificates shall contain the following information:
- Dog information sheet (including breed, name, gender, color, date of birth or age, carrying person information);
- Microchip number, date and place of implantation;
- Animal clinical inspection result and date;
The contents of the certificate shall not be altered.
- Rabies vaccination certificate shall contain the following information:
- Dog information (including breed, name, gender, color, date of birth or age);
- Validity period of rabies vaccination, vaccine serial number, date of vaccination and period of valid immunization, type of vaccine (only for inactivated or recombinant vaccines), name of vaccine, name of the manufacturing company;
- Vaccination institute and personnel.
2. Documents required for entry from a non-designated country or region:
- The official Quarantine Certificates shall contain the following information:
- Dog information sheet (including breed, name, gender, color, date of birth or age, carrying person information);
- Microchip number, date and place of implantation;
- Animal clinical inspection result and date;
The contents of the certificate shall not be altered.
- Rabies vaccination certificate shall contain the following information:
- Dog information (including breed, name, gender, color, date of birth or age);
- Validity period of rabies vaccination, vaccine serial number, date of vaccination and period of valid immunization, type of vaccine (only for inactivated or recombinant vaccines), name of vaccine, name of the manufacturing company;
- Vaccination institute and personnel.
- Other requirements
- Rabies antibody titer test report must be issued by Laboratories recognized by China’s General Administration of Customs;
- Rabies antibody titer detection method should be FAVN (fluorescent antibody virus neutralization test) or RFFIT (rapid fluorescence focus inhibition test)
- The blood collection date for rabies antibody titer test should be no earlier than the 2nd rabies vaccine injection time (can be on the same day)
- Rabies antibody titer test is valid for two years from the date of blood collection.
