Andy Gong (CHN)
Mr. Andy Gong has been actively involved in the world of dogs for almost twenty years. Following his great passion on pure breeds, he started his career with breeding and exhibiting of Miniature Schnauzers and Chow chows and many of his dogs won National and International Titles.
Since 2006, he has been fortunate to work in professional kennel clubs, which enable him to have more chances to learn from lots of prestigious judges and breeders worldwide. Through this process, he has enriched his knowledge of dogs and judging, importantly, it has brought him to understand more clearly that a huge responsibility always comes for what he says and does with every moment he is judging. He knows it very well that being a qualified judge needs a life-long learning and he has never stopped his steps to take all possible opportunities to study from others by paying visits to internationally renowned dog shows every year.
Over the past years, his international officiating invitations have taken him to judge in many countries as a CKU all-round judge, amongst which are the US, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Russia, the Switzerland, Lithuania, Columbia, Brazil and Argentina, etc.
As regards the administrative post, Mr. Andy Gong currently serves as the Director of Foreign Affairs Dept. of the China Kennel Union (CKU).
